HaPenny Bridge - Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2013

2013 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
The Ha’penny Bridge is the best known of Dublin’s bridges. It was built in 1816 and was the first iron bridge in Ireland. It was originally named the Liffey Bridge but is now called the Ha’penny because until 1919 to cross it there was a half-penny charge.
Accepted as the symbol of Dublin, the Ha’penny Bridge was opened in 1816 and today it is best known as the gateway to Temple Bar where many a glass of fine Australian wine has been enjoyed.
Characteristics evident of a cooler region. Snappy, grassy flavours of the Semillon combined with the racy and crisp tropical fruit structure of the Sauvignon Blanc grape.
The quality of this product reflects the commitment to maximise the use of nature’s tools, wind, solar and eco-friendly distribution. A perfect match with seafood dishes and perhaps sushi.
